Objective:
Defining conflict; defining internal and external conflict; categorizing conflict as examples; identifying and analyzing conflict as it exists in stories.

Language objectives:
Reading short stories that display classic examples of the two types of conflict.  Taking Cornell notes about Conflict.  Preparing for assessment on Friday.

I. Obtain Cornell template on Conflict from Mr. O’Donnell and be prepared to fill in the notes.  Be prepared to provide examples on the types of conflict.

II. Choose a short story using the handout and follow the link to the right for Short Stories @ east of the web.  Read the story and examine the types of Conflict that exist in the story.
